Gospel Shoes of Peace

Ephesians 6:11 says, “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”

Praying for the nations

As we are living in end times, we know that as we put on the gospel shoes of peace we will be able to resist the enemy and we will be standing firm on the word of truth during and after every spiritual battle. For the gospel shoes of peace declare we are at peace with God and are taking steps to be at peace with people.

For the gospel declares Jesus Christ saves – it’s victorious truth. It’s stabilizing in an unstable world. We have victory in Christ.

Thus, the gospel shoes of peace that we, Christians, put on everyday declare we have victory in Christ with every step that we take. Victory is a part of our armor, stabilizing our mind while guiding our direction.

So, we look for opportunities to share the gospel with others, saying:

We all fall short of God’s glorious standard, and our sin separates us from God. The Bible tells us the wages of sin is death, but the Good News is, God in His love sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to be born of a virgin, walking this earth perfect. Jesus suffered and died on the cross for us, taking all of our sin upon Himself. He was buried but He didn’t stay dead. He rose again on the third day and is now seated at God’s right hand. Jesus is alive!

Peace with God and mankind is made possible because of Jesus Christ.

Truly the gospel shoes of peace are a part of our armor against every deceitful attack of the enemy because living out the gospel covers our steps with peace. We are unlike the world; thus, we are able to reach the world with the truth of Jesus Christ.

Our steps hold lasting authority, as we refuse to compromise.
