"For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. " James 1:3-4 NLT

Today, remember - God has a plan for you and it is good. The trial you are facing right now, God is going to use for His glory and for your greater good—Romans 8:28. Don’t worry. Pray—Philippians 4:6-7! There is a beginning and an end to this trial. God knows about your suffering—Revelation 2:9. Hear His voice quietly say to your heart, “I am with you in the midst of this. You are not alone”—Matthew 28:20. He won’t give you more than you can handle—1 Corinthians 10:13. He knows your strengths. He knows your weaknesses. Right now, He is growing you in your faith - strengthening you. Hear Jesus calling out to you, “Remain faithful even when facing death, and I will give you the crown of life”— Revelation 2:10 NLT. Remain faithful to Jesus Christ no matter your current situation, remembering this truth -

God is not for the evil you are facing, He is for you. God hates evil and has given you everything you need in your relationship with Him to overcome.

Jesus Christ is perfect in knowledge - Psalm 147:5 and personally understands the difficulties you are facing - Hebrews 2:18. And He offers a reward for your heroic endurance - the crown of life. The crown of life is given in heaven to all who have suffered and to those who have resisted temptation and have persevered under trial. We serve a loving God. He will reward your faithfulness. Don’t give up!

Refuse to allow your current situation to draw your focus away from Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes on Christ and continue to move forward (even if it is baby steps).

Truly, your heroic endurance reveals your resilience - your psychological strength amidst difficulty and uncertainty. It does not mean you will not experience negative emotion - for severe difficulties draw out negative emotion in the best of us - it means the negative emotion does not consume you and take over your life. Jesus Christ continues to rule your heart and mind.

Today, will you choose to see your current situation with the eyes of Jesus Christ?

Prayer: Abba, I give my life to You, desiring Your will to take place. In Jesus' name, Amen.
