Praying for Babies

Praying for Babies

Praying for babies – to be loved in the womb; recognized as human not sub-human while in the womb; to be loved; talked to about Jesus Christ; held; nourished and cared for; played with; read stories to; and sung to; and for orphans, those in the foster care system or those up for adoption to be placed in loving Christian homes.

“Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.” 1 Peter 2:2 NLT * “You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Psalm 139:15-16 NLT * “Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mothers’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.” Ecclesiastes 11:5 NLT

Praying for Babies

Prayer: Abba, we lift every pregnant woman up to you and the father of their baby, praying more women would choose to keep their baby and not abort their child. Thank You for the states’ governments ruling in favor of life. We ask Lord, for You to speak to the hearts of the people in the most liberal states, and that You would change their heart’s direction – Proverbs 21:1. Praying for every baby born, to be loved by their parents and cared for and pointed to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Revival of the Hearts
Revival of the Hearts 2 Chronicles 7:14
Revival of the Hearts is available on Amazon.

Do you desire revival in your own personal life and in those around you?

Truly, a genuine desire for Jesus Christ ignites revival in a heart and mind – it’s a life hungering and thirsting for righteousness.

This book, Revival of the Hearts, is a quick in-depth look at 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV, where God says, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

A timeless truth from God aimed at His own who have turned away from Him, or who will turn from Him at some point in time. For every sin we commit turns us subtly away. But God in His merciful grace, forgives the repentant sinner. It’s a promise. Not an outlet to sin, simply to receive His grace; but a road traveled by many in humble repentance.

2 Chronicles 7:14 is an amazing, timeless verse in the Old Testament that speaks to us today regarding revival in our own heart, and in those around us.

In these ten chapters, VanderWeerd breaks down the truths God declares in 2 Chronicles 7:14; providing a quick in-depth look into Scripture, helping readers gain a richer understanding of God’s word and how to live it out in their personal lives. This book is great for personal study or for a group bible study, with questions for discussion at the end of each chapter.

Relentless Designs Calligraphy Fish Gospel of Mark Verse Tshirt

Mark 1:17 is a sweet verse that says, “Jesus called out to them, ‘Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people.'” (NLT) Jesus, truly, is the greatest guide in reaching people. He loves people. He didn’t come to condemn, but to be our Savior and to die the death we deserved – John 3:15-16. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God found in Jesus Christ is life today and life everlasting in heaven – Romans 6:23. His humble attitude is an attitude to follow – Philippians 2:7-8.

Jesus’ righteous steps are the right steps to follow. Every step He took was right with God. He never sinned to accomplish God’s will, He obeyed God and that accomplished God’s will. Jesus didn’t treat people unequally; He did the will of the Father. And the will of God is best for everyone. He didn’t hurt people to reach people. Jesus loved people and that reached people. He had compassion for the sick and hurting, and for the hungry, so much so He would stop what He was doing and would minister to them.

Do we have that same compassion? Do we have that same love for mankind?

Many desire to influence for self glory, which reveals a prideful heart devoid of love for God and devoid of love for people. We should desire to reach people for God’s honor and glory, accomplishing His will for His Kingdom; for that alone is everlasting. It is as we follow Jesus, we realize we have everything we need for living a godly life.

So, we cling to the promises that enable us to share His divine nature; escaping the world’s corruption caused by human desires. Jesus came to do the will of the Father, and the will of the Father remains reaching people in Jesus’ name. For Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; no one is allowed to enter God’s presence without Him as their Lord and Savior – John 14:6. And with Him as our Savior, we know we can fearlessly enter God’s presence assured of His glad welcome; free from judgment because we live like Jesus here in this world –Ephesians 3:12, 1 John 4:17.
