Praying for college students – wisdom, boldness in the classroom to proclaim Christ’s name, godly friends, a good experience, finding a field they are passionate about, purity, ability to retain information they learned, focus, discipline to finish the work, desire to excel in their work and not just get by, excel in testing and writing papers, doors open to work in their field, the ability to pay off student loans, and for college students to desire to take a biblical worldview into their profession.

“If you need wisdom, as our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.” James 1:5-8 NLT

Prayer: Abba, please give every college student the eyes to see and the ears to hear for those are gifts from You – Proverbs 20:12. Additionally, please give them the wisdom they need, and alleviation of overwhelming stress. Help them endure tedious courses, and for those desiring to complete their degree this year – the ability to do so. Above all, You love them and You know exactly where You want them to work. Please remove any obstacle in their path and open the door for them – Revelation 3:7-8. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
