Praying for Widows
September 13
Praying for Widows –
Praying for widows – to experience God’s love – held in His arms – as they grieve; wisdom; grace; mercy; peace; to grow in their knowledge of Jesus Christ; to be surrounded by loving people who don’t force their timeline on them, but allow the different stages/seasons of grief; to feel safe, secure and loved by the church; to have the financial provision they need; and vision for this next season in their life.
Praying Scripture
“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. A time to search and a time to quit searching. A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NLT
“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 NLT
Prayer:
Abba, we lift every widow up to You, asking for Your will to be done in their life. You know them and love them, and see their every need. Praying they cast their cares upon You, knowing they are Your personal concern- 1 Peter 5:7. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Relentless Designs Jesus Christ Loves You Faith Hope Cross Raglan Baseball Tee
Undoubtedly, for many, the cross has personal meaning. They are reminded of all that God has done for them in their life here on earth; and they are encouraged in hope for their future in heaven, where they will see Jesus Christ face to face. As a result, when people see others wearing t-shirts with a cross on them, they are encouraged in their faith and sense the solidarity amongst their fellow Christians.
All in all, the cross shares the truth – God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, He sent His Son to save the world through His death on the cross and His resurrection – John 3:17. In truth, the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus Christ came to bring life and that abundantly – here on earth, as well as in heaven – John 10:10. Above all, He is love, and love saves.
