Relentless prayer is a relentless pursuit in seeing God’s will done on earth.

“Sometimes Christians get confused about prayer with very common questions.

One question is, ‘Do I pray to God or do I pray to Jesus? Does it matter?’ Well, Jesus Christ is God, as He states in John 10:30 NKJV, ‘I am my Father are one;’ but He and the Father hold different roles in our life. Honestly, you can talk to either. The point of prayer is to know God. Sometimes we Christians love standards because we believe that is the way to success – ‘if you do this, you are guaranteed an answer.’ But the fact is, God desires your genuine heart over your structured prayers that might miss something. He desires sincerity over your manipulation, image, or eloquent words, etc. He knows you anyways; and He knows why you are coming to Him in prayer. When Jesus shared with the disciples the Lord’s prayer that some call the disciple’s prayer – some people recite it verbatim because they are sentences written down clearly and easy to memorize, and some people pray it. It really comes down to the heart attitude and the direction of the mind. God knows. No one really knows your heart’s direction, except for you and God. Ultimately, the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught His disciples how to have a conversation with God that honors Him; mentioning what topics to discuss with Him. It is a guide.”
