Relentless Prayer – Prayer List 10/21/21

Relentless prayer is a relentless pursuit in seeing God’s will done on earth.

“When God calls us to pray, He calls us to present our heart before Him. He hears prayer no matter the location; and the only posture He is looking for is the posture of our heart, mind, and soul. A heart surrendered before the King of kings. A real genuine heart devoid of ritual. A mind focused on Him, for He alone is God; and a soul right before Him, having accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.

This is loving God.

And when we intercede on behalf of others, we love them. Prayer, therefore, is one way we fulfill God’s two greatest commands to love Him and to love people.” – excerpt taken from Revival of the Hearts, by Alysa VanderWeerd

CURRENT EVENTS

Great Britain’s Government, during the summer, removed the mask mandate and social distancing. There has been a rise in COVID-19 cases recently and some are concerned. The government has already shut the economy down on lockdown 3 times and does not want to do that again. Praying for wisdom for what is best for the people and economy, a decrease in COVID-19 cases, for natural immunity to be on the rise and recognized, and for people to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James 1:5 NLT

Texas asked the Supreme Court to keep their state’s near total abortion ban in place, arguing that “the federal government lacks standing – meaning that it can’t demonstrate that it is harmed by the law — and that therefore the Supreme Court should decline the U.S. Justice Department’s emergency request to temporarily block the law while court proceedings to determine its constitutionality continue.” Praying for Texas’ law to remain in place, for protection of the unborn, and for people to realize why life is a gift from God.

You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve. You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured.
