Relentless Prayer – Prayer List 10/22/21

Relentless prayer is a relentless pursuit in seeing God’s will done on earth.

” ‘As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.’ – Micah 7:7 NLT

Our confidence in God hearing us does not come from our own efforts or perfect living – it comes from Him. God’s word gives us confidence because we know He is faithful to His word – 2 Timothy 2:13. He tells us what He will listen to and what turns His face away.

He listens to those who are dependent upon Him, repentant – Psalm 116:1-2. But He turns His face away from those living in unrepentant sin; refusing to listen to them – Psalm 66:18. ” – excerpt taken from Revival of the Hearts, by Alysa VanderWeerd

CHURCHES

People attending – Praying people are drawn to a Bible teaching church this weekend, either in person or online, and that they hear and understand the message with the intention of living it out; and that the cares of this world do not snatch the message away from their hearts and minds.

“The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message about the Kingdom and don’t understand it. Then the evil one comes and snatches away the seed that was planted in their hearts. The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. The seed that fell on good soil represents those who truly hear and understand God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted.” Matthew 13:19-23 NLT

Sunday services – Praying God is high and lifted up, worshipped and praised by hearts of gratitude.

“Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:21 NLT

Non-believers – Praying for God to draw non-believers to church this weekend, preparing their hearts to receive the message and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; and for those non-believers who will encounter a Christian this weekend to hear God speak through the Christian and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 NKJV

PRAYER

Abba, we are so thankful that You care about everything that takes place here on earth. We lift up these people today, asking for Your will to be done in their lives. Thank You for Your love, grace, and mercy. We ask, Lord for Your power to be witnessed and that many accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; realizing eternity is real and they have the choice today to choose life with You now and on into heaven, or death – a wasted life here on earth and eternal destruction in hell. Praying people choose life and live at peace with You – Romans 8:5-6. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
