Relentless prayer is a relentless pursuit in seeing God’s will done on earth.

“Now if we say we are going to pray for someone, we need to let our “Yes” be “Yes,” and our “No” be “No” – James 5:12. Being faithful to our word is a component that completes our faith, as God calls us to not say things in vain; for we will have to give an account on judgment day for every idle word we speak – Matthew 12:36. Faithfulness is a focused mind and heart attitude that exemplifies Jesus’ character here on earth, so much so people encounter Him in our actions and words. So it is important. Also, we do not want to give people false hope; having them believe we are interceding on their behalf, when we are not. Again, God knows our heart and will encourage or correct accordingly.” – excerpt taken from Revival of the Hearts by Alysa VanderWeerd

CURRENT EVENTS

Robberies – Praying for those who are stealing and breaking into stores, and even homes, to be caught and apprehended; for the safety of the people caught in the mix of the crime; for the stores to be compensated for what was stolen; for the thieves to encounter God. Stealing will never satisfy, it simply reveals greed on the part of the individual. Praying for there to be less crime this Christmas season, even with the many difficulties people are facing. Proverbs 12:12 states thieves are jealous of other thieves loot, but the godly are well rooted and bear their own fruit. Praying thieves repent and change their desires to that of working to earn money to buy what they want. When they always look at what others have, they will never be satisfied. God supplies all of our needs- Psalm 23:1, Philippians 4:19.
