Relentless Designs – Mark 1:17

I believe God has called us Christians to shine the light where He has placed us – in the opportunities He opens up for us.

One opportunity God has opened up for me is Amazon merch, with my brand Relentless Designs. I have grown up at Harvest Christian Fellowship, selling t-shirts/sweatshirts/books and cds with my family in the resource booths at the crusades. I always enjoyed it, and believe the right resources are not only helpful but enhance one’s quality of living by adding good, fun character to life. The t-shirts sold continue to pay for the Bibles that are handed out on the field when people accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The t-shirts and sweatshirts are multipurpose tools, so to speak; serving many different capacities, while proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ.

In a similar way, my merch serves multiple purposes: shining the light of Jesus Christ through quality design, as well as contributing to the funding of the mission of this website – a relentless pursuit in seeing God’s will done on earth by way of prayer (praying for God’s will to be done in people’s lives) and by providing strong free resources on this website for individuals to apply to their lives in the situations that they face.

For me, I see my opportunity with Amazon merch, as an opportunity to share Jesus Christ on a very large public platform. As Christians, we truly should take every opportunity that we can to shine the light of Jesus Christ, for we never know who may come across our work and either be encouraged in their walk with Christ or be pointed to Him for the first time.

So, in the Description section, I tend to write a mini devo that explains the meaning of the verse on the t-shirt. God is so good, and I pray as people read the description many realize His vast love that is displayed in so many different ways.

Relentless Designs Calligraphy Fish Gospel of Mark Verse T-Shirt

Description: Mark 1:17 is a sweet verse that says, “Jesus called out to them, ‘Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people.'” (NLT) Jesus, truly, is the greatest guide in reaching people. He loves people. He didn’t come to condemn, but to be our Savior and to die the death we deserved – John 3:15-16. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God found in Jesus Christ is life today and life everlasting in heaven – Romans 6:23. His humble attitude is an attitude to follow – Philippians 2:7-8. Jesus’ righteous steps are the right steps to follow. Every step He took was right with God. He never sinned to accomplish God’s will, He obeyed God and that accomplished God’s will. He didn’t treat people unequally; He did the will of the Father. And the will of God is best for everyone. He didn’t hurt people to reach people. He loved people and that reached people. He had compassion for the sick and hurting, and for the hungry, so much so He would stop what He was doing and would minister to them. Do we have that same compassion? Do we have that same love for mankind? Many desire to influence for self glory, which reveals a prideful heart devoid of love for God and devoid of love for people. We should desire to reach people for God’s honor and glory, accomplishing His will for His Kingdom; for that alone is everlasting. It is as we follow Jesus, we realize we have everything we need for living a godly life. So, we cling to the promises that enable us to share His divine nature; escaping the world’s corruption caused by human desires. Jesus came to do the will of the Father, and the will of the Father remains reaching people in Jesus’ name. For Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; no one is allowed to enter God’s presence without Him as their Lord and Savior – John 14:6. And with Him as our Savior, we know we can fearlessly enter God’s presence assured of His glad welcome; free from judgment because we live like Jesus here in this world –Ephesians 3:12, 1 John 4:17.
