Relentless Prayer – Prayer List

Relentless prayer is a relentless pursuit in seeing God’s will done on earth.

There are many prayer needs in the world today, and those who have a heart and mind for intercessory prayer love talking to God about them – asking for His will to be done. Here is a simple list, if you are looking for a prayer list with current events prayer needs and prayer needs with verses attached. Many people love praying Scripture, as that is where the power is – God’s voice!

CURRENT EVENTS

On October 17, 2021, 17- United States Christian missionaries (6 men, 6 women, and 5 children), from Christian Aid Ministries, were abducted by gang members in Port-au-Prince, Haiti when they were leaving an orphanage. NY Times stated, “gangs are now said to control half the city.” The gang members are demanding 17 million for the Christians release. Praying for the Christian missionaries to be rescued or released, unharmed, and the gang members surrendering their lives to Jesus Christ.

“But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from Me. I, the LORD, have have spoken.” Isaiah 54:17 NLT

United States Government vaccine mandatepeople are losing their jobs if they do not comply. It is an infringement of rights, which the US country was founded on. Praying the US Government, as well as private companies, realize people have the freedom to choose what is best for their own family and that they need these people to work. Praying for families to have wisdom and discernment when making their decisions.

“I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.” Psalm 119:45 NLT * “As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.” Psalm 119:143 NLT * “Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105 NLT * “If you need wisdom, as our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James 1:5 NLT

United States economy needs people to get back to work – there are approximately 5 million people fewer in the workforce than prior to COVID-19 and approx. 10 million vacant U.S. jobs. Economists say there could be a variety of reasons, namely health concerns or people rethinking their priorities. Praying businesses gather the workforce that they need to be successful and for those who are applying for jobs to get the best job for their needs, a place where they will be most effective for God.

“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13 NLT * “I know all the things you do, and I have a opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” Revelation 3:8 NLT

Growth in Christian Private Schools – Praying for the gospel to be shared in the Christian private schools, and teachers being Christ-like examples, as the surge may increase even more and non-Christians may be signing up for private school due to COVID-19 and vaccine mandates.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere – in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NLT * “And then he told them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” Mark 16:15 NLT

HEALTH

Cancer – Praying for healing for all those who have been diagnosed with cancer, and those undergoing treatment.

“O LORD my God, I cried out to you for help, and you restored my health.” Psalm 30:2 NLT

Physical Injuries – Praying for healing for all those whose daily activities of living have been hindered due to some physical injury.

Anxiety – Praying for healing and deliverance for all who are experiencing some form of anxiety – a very real or perceived threat to their life, or their well-being.

“…And be sure of this; I am with you always even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20b NLT

Depression – Praying for healing and deliverance for all who feel hopeless, believing their negative situation will never change.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12

Grief – Praying for healing for those who have lost loved ones.

“I would have lost heart unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13 NKJV

PRAYER

Abba, we pray for Your will to be done in every one of these instances. We praise You and thank You, and rejoice in advance for all that You are going to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
