Thankful Declarations

This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. For God is good and His name is to be greatly praised.

Psalm 100:4 says, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.”

The Hebrew word for thanksgiving is todah, and it means “concrete declarations of thanksgiving in the context of worship often by way of song or sacrifice.” It is exalting God’s name with thanks.

Today, let’s lift God’s name high with thanksgiving:

Lord Jesus, thank You for being the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End for this reveals Your power throughout generations. Thank You for being Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides for our every need, and for being El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One. Thank You for being Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. There is no illness or suffering too difficult for You to heal today. We praise You! Thank You for being Jehovah Nissi, the Family Banner, for we have victory in Your power and presence and You alone are the One in whom we lift up in praise. Thank You for being Immanuel, You are here with us. We are never alone. Thank You for being Jehovah Raah, You are our Shepherd and we lack nothing. Thank You for being Adonai Yahweh, our Master and Lord. You are Sovereign overall and in control, and our Lord with whom we have a personal relationship with.

We praise Your name for Your unfailing love and faithfulness, for Your promises are backed by all of the honor and power of Your name!
